In Dubai, there is no time to rest, it’s the city that never sleeps, here you can enjoy 24/7 activities, city tours, Desert safari, Dhow cruise, Fly over a city, dive, jump from airplane, Yachts and limousines, the top luxurious accommodation and royal treatment, spa and much more.
Dubai is located on the Eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, in the southwest corner of the Arabian Gulf. It is extremely well known for its rich cultural heritage and the warm hospitality of Emirati people who are gentle and generous in their approach to visitors. With year-round sunshine, intriguing deserts, beautiful beaches, luxurious hotels and shopping malls, fascinating heritage attractions and a thriving business community, Dubai has become a top tourist destination and has received millions of leisure and business visitors each year from around the world.
The local currency is the Dirham, which is pegged at AED 3.67 to 1 US dollar. Dubai is tolerant and cosmopolitan and all visitors are welcome. Islam is the religion in Dubai and is considered a way of life in the city, and therefore tourists should adopt a certain level of cultural and religious sensitivity during their stay.
Dubai Economy: The past few decades have witnessed incredible growth throughout all sectors of the Dubai economy. The emirate’s government is constantly working to improve its commercial transparency and introduce dynamic regulations that aid the formation of small and medium enterprises. Dubai’s economy is no longer reliant on oil, but is more diversified, relying heavily on trade, services and finance sectors. With its central geographic location between Asian and European markets, Dubai has worked hard to establish itself as an integral part of the global trade mechanism. Its central location has also allowed Dubai to become a popular and accessible tourist destination.
Attractions: Although Dubai is seen as a relatively young destination, it has a fascinating history and a vibrant heritage that offers visitors an intriguing glimpse into Arabian culture. A good place to start exploring the history and heritage of Dubai is the Dubai Museum: it is located inside Al Fahidi Fort, one of Dubai’s oldest buildings dating back to 1787. There are other museums in Dubai and in surrounding emirates that also offer important insights into the history and growth of the city and of the United Arab Emirates.

Arabic Night Dinner with Belly Dancer - Luxuria Tours & Events
Dubai’s claim to fame is its vibrant nightlife; Dubai has much to offer of late night entertainment and the emirate regularly hosts some of the most popular club nights and world-renowned DJs and artists from around the globe including David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Katy Perry, Nicky Minaj, Chris Brown and more.
There are many bars and nightclubs in Dubai, though most of these are located in hotels. The crowd varies from one club to another, but mostly consists of a mix of party goers of both Eastern and Western origin. Most Dubai clubs such as White Dubai, Cavalli Club, Cirque Le Soir, VIP Room and Blue Marlin Ibiza are packed on Thursday and Friday nights Thursday signals the end of the work week and Fridays and Saturdays are weekends for most working people in Dubai. Many popular hotspots host a ladies night on Tuesday or Wednesday where ladies can enter for free and are even offered free drinks and food.
The legal drinking age in Dubai is 21 years of age and night clubs always adhere to this rule. For visitors, a passport is an acceptable form of ID, while for residents, an Emirates ID or a driving license will suffice. If you plan on drinking, make sure you take a cab back home or wherever you plan on going after; the UAE has absolutely no tolerance for drinking and driving and police are very vigilant; getting caught will guarantee jail time. Clubs typically start filling up after 10pm and all night clubs close by 3:00am.
Whether you’re looking to dress up for a night to Dubai’s best night clubs or just a casual night out with some friends, there are plenty of party spots to pick from. Check our event section (hyperlink) to find out the most popular and happening hotspots of Dubai each night of the week.
Culture & History
Some 800 members of the Bani Yas tribe, led by the Maktoum Family, settled at the mouth of the creek in 1833. The creek was a natural harbor and Dubai soon became a center for the fishing, pearling and sea trade.
Courtesy and hospitality are among the most highly prized of virtues in the Arab world, and visitors will be charmed by the warmth and friendliness of the people. Dubai’s culture is rooted in Islam, providing a strength and inspiration that touches all aspects of everyday life. Virtually every neighborhood has its own mosque, where the faithful congregate for prayer five times every day. One of the largest and most beautiful mosques is Jumeirah Mosque- a spectacular example of modern Islamic architecture.
